Christine Nantongo is a Development Communication specialist. A Student of National Council of Advocacy Studies (NCAS) India and holding certification in human rights advocacy.
Currently advisor on strategic partnership and resilience programming as well as facilitator on leadership development.
To-date, 21yrs practice as Regional/Global advocacy practitioner (forest governance, public accountability, food rights, environment and development, climate change, ethnic minority rights etc), Advocacy trainer and advisor East and Southern Africa-MSTCDC, Advocacy Manager (capacity building, coordination, partnership and grants management), Advocacy consultant (strategist, coach, negotiator, evaluator, back-stopper etc).
Supported hundreds of nonprofit and public entities across East and Southern Africa in the different roles, among these in Uganda, MWE, FAO, UWA, NFA, FSSD, Oxfam, DANIDA, Care International, Concern World Wide, Caritas Uganda, IRC, FIDA, ADRA Uganda/Malawi/Rwanda, Trocaire, UDN, DENIVA, FIDA, VECO, NUPP, ECO, ACODE, CSCO, ActionAid, EMLI, Environmental Alert, MYJ, community based groups, networks etc.
Emmy is a graduate of Makerere University, he holds a BScin Civil Engineering and a Bsc in Surveying; a Msc in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management.
His career has taken him through over 20 years of Project Planning and management of schemes particularly in the Transportation sector where he has been involved in providing consultancy services on a number of infrastructure projects ranging from Feasibility studies, detailed Engineering designs, Tender assistance and project management of major Highways and Junction schemes in Kampala and across the country, including the Kampala-Jinja Expressway, Kampala-Bombo Expressway, The Kampala Outer beltway, improvement of major Junctions and links in Kampala, The Kampala Southern Bypass, Jinja-Bugiri road, Kampala Northern Bypass and many others.
Emmy is a Partner and Director at Professional Engineering Consultants Ltd (one of the leading Civil Engineering consultancy firms in Uganda), Director at Universal Associated Consults Ltd, Partner at GETLAB Ltd (The Best and leading Materials and Geotechnical investigations lab in Uganda), Board member UMMA Holdings Ltd and Harvest Holdings Ltd.
He is a Rotarian in the Rotary Club of Kampala Central and has served at various levels up to the District where he served as an Assistant Governor and also has served on the Rotary Cancer Program.
Mr. Lubowa is an experienced digital marketing professional with over five years in digital and social media strategy, content development and media planning and buying, analytics and reporting spanning industries like hospitality, banking, sports, legal transport and logistics, NGOs, foods and beverages and health.
Ms. Sarah Nakibuuka has over 20 years experience in Management, Corporate Communications and Marketing. She is a former Board Secretary for the International Association of Women in Radio and Television (IAWRT) and Rotary Club of Kampala Central. She previously worked for the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) and Non Government Organizations. She is a graduate of Makerere University with a Degree in Mass Communication and a Masters in Human Rights.
